Sexuality: He has never really been given the chance to explore it by himself before coming to England, but given that the only person he has ever felt romantic love for is Mercedes he'd go with homosexual.
Allegiance and why: To his family and the aristocracy as he comes from them.
Social Status and/or Occupation: The third son of a deposed French Lord, Aimé is trying to find his footing in England as a social companion to upper-class English men who can give him something in return.
Berif physical description of your character: Aimé carries much of his mother in his feature including her dark hair and red lips, but his face is very similar to his father. He keeps his hair cut short to distinguish himself from the style of the radicals his age and proudly wears his expensive French clothing.


Brief description of your characters history, including family: Aimé is the youngest surviving child and son of a small Aristocratic family from Nantes. The other two where Antoine, twelve years Aimé’s senior and Augustin who was five years older. As a child Aimé was coddled by his mother who had experienced many miscarriages between the birth of his older brothers and the young boy. Despite the infant mortality rate her three living children thrived and grow soon into strong young men. However, when Aimé was fourteen his mother suffered complications during the birth of what should have been another healthy son and both mother and child died soon afterwards. Aimé’s father was devastated and moved the small family from their ancestral home to the court at Paris to distract himself. It soon became apparent in Paris that the provincial family was out of place in the glamorous world of the King and Queen. Aimé’s father and eldest brother Antoine became drawn into court politics and carrying favour. Aimé was growing in to quite a beautiful young man and had not failed to catch the eye of one or two gentlemen at court. Antoine convinced their father to use this to their advantage and so Aimé became the companion of a Marquis at the tender age of fifteen and remained with the man until he fell out of favour at court and Antoine moved him on to a new bed. Aimé was popular at court with older men but found himself unable to befriend young men his own age – either they resented him for taking the place they wanted or they despised him for seducing their fathers. At this time his only confident and friend was his other brother Augustin. Augustin disliked the games played at court and refused to join his family in gaining favour through the use of Aimé’s body. Aimé and Augustin had been close, but one day without word Augustin disappeared. Although he questioned his father and Antoine they would only say that Augustin had run away to join the revolutionaries. Life in Paris was becoming more dangerous and the King and Queen where thrown in jail. A few days after Aimé received an anonymous letter warning him that the family was going to be arrested and would face the same fate. The family escaped from Paris and Antoine made arrangements with a Captain named Mercedes Dupont to ferry them to England.
On the boat ride over Aimé visited Mercedes in his cabin with the intention of expressing his gratitude and the two ended up in bed together. They landed in Dover the next morning and Aimé thought he would never see the man who had rescued them again. His father and brother rented a town house in London and set to introducing Aimé to gentleman at parties. They hoped to gain a title or citizenship through a profitable relationship and there for be protected from deportation back to France. To Aimé surprise his brother Antoine invited Mercedes to these parties as a prop to introduce the family and tell of his daring rescue. Meeting again the two rekindled their romance. However, when Antoine discovered this he banned Aimé from seeing Mercedes, proclaiming it a useless waste of time for Aimé to be interested in a common merchant.
Aimé is quite happy to play along with his brothers choice, pretending he does not see Mercedes any more but secretly the boy is plotting to gain Mercedes a title through his bed hopping. After all, Antoine could not refuse him if he was a Lord.


One or two plots which you would like to play out in the community: The family’s escape from France. The return of an old lover. Gaining Mercedes a title.

Are there any other characters you would like to see in the game? For instance, family, friends of your character?:
[name] Laurent – Aimé’s father. An old man, reaching his fifties or sixties. Although he still commands respect from his children he had has all but given up control of the family to his eldest son Antoine.

Antoine Laurent – Aime’s eldest brother. In his early thirties Antoine is an attractive man. He is used to play the games of court and strives for power. He has plans to marry a titled young woman but wishes to make as much use of Aimé’s charms as he can to propel them through society before he needs to do the work himself.

Augustin Laurent – Aime’s second elder brother. In his mid to late twenties. Augustin joined the revolutionaries as he was unable to stand the corruption and depravity of aristocratic life. He sent the note warning the family to escape because although he has very little care for his older brother he still worries for his father and Aimé. However, Aimé has been led to believe that Augustin betrayed them and planned to have them executed.

Any of his old lovers from France or new lovers in England.
